SERVPRO of Amarillo is asking our neighbors to help us collect used items for homeless shelter pets for the 2022 winter season.
Donations will be accepted from November 14 until December 16, 2022.
When people think about donating to shelters, they think about food and toys. But what about the other items that shelters need to keep their furry residents safe and comfortable?
This winter, also consider donating used blankets, towels, and kennels. Our technicians will sanitize everything donated and then deliver them to needy pet shelters.
As you get out blankets for winter, set some aside for our town's homeless pet shelters.
Accepted Donation Items
- Blankets and Towels of any size, color, or material. Bulky items are welcome! Blankets and towels can be used to line kennels and provide extra warmth for animals that are still outdoors. They can also be used to dry off wet animals after they've been bathed.
- Kennels are essential for keeping animals safe and comfortable at shelters. They provide a space for animals to rest and relax and help keep the shelter clean.
- Unopened Pet Food, wet or dry, bagged or canned for cats or dogs.
By donating items that shelters need this winter, you'll be helping to keep homeless pets safe and comfortable.
