Flooding at the Don Harrington Discovery Center

Rainwater combined with a plumbing issue caused extensive flooding at the Don Harrington Discovery Center. SERVPRO of West Amarillo was called to the center. Gallons upon gallons of water was extracted from the floor and carpet. As you can see in the photo, the molding was removed to facilitate the drying process.  Some jobs need holes drilled into the wall behind base molding so that an air mover can be used to force warm air into the wall. This will help with the drying process.  A product was also used to inhibit mold growth.  When SERVPRO^® of West Amarillo completed the drying process, the Discovery Center was dry and not a hint of mold!
