Water Damaged Wall Repaired in Amarillo, TX Home

The walls were in bad shape when we showed up at this home. This was the water-damaged wall covered up with drywall for some time, so moisture was trapped behind the drywall. This caused all of the veneer to peel off. The wood inside the walls began taking on moisture as it grew from behind the drywall and caused mold growth in adjacent rooms.

Once all of the water-damaged wall was removed, we could cut out parts of the subfloor that had been affected by mold. We wrapped the area with plastic and tarped it off for clean-up. This picture shows before & after repairs done to stop further damage.
