Professional Protection of Belongings Before Restoration Begins

It doesn't take much to cause damage to a building's contents. In the case of a flood, a broken pipe, or another water damage event, even a single inch of water can cause extensive damage to your possessions.

That’s when SERVPRO's Amarillo Water Damage Restoration team was called to help a local business owner who's building had been flooded with water.

The first step of our process was to unplug all electrical appliances and machines, remove furniture items, cover them, and place them in designated areas. The furniture that couldn't be easily moved was lifted by our experienced technicians using special lifting equipment. The entire building was then surveyed for possible water damage restoration processes.

The next step was to remove all traces of damage to any contents and restore them to their former state. We placed all items we had withdrawn from the building in a secure location and started restoring them.

Once the drying process was complete, our highly-trained team turned their attention to restoring the building space. Lastly, we had to sanitize the entire space, including all of our equipment used during the restoration process.

By finishing up the job with such attention to detail and repairing the building, we returned it to its previous condition.
